Tip 1: Keep your face clean!

It's common sense, right? Whether you have acne or not, it's important to wash your face on a daily basis, twice a day. It helps to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil for the surface of your skin. However, it's important to note that washing your skin more than twice a day can harm your skin! 

Use warm, not hot water - as well as a mild facial cleanser. Washing your skin after using the Alya Skin Face Mask is included in the two washes per day limit.

Tip 2: Moisturize

Many acne products contain ingredients that can dry out your skin - always use a moisturizer that will minimize dryness and skin peeling. We recommend looking for "noncomedogenic" on the label. This will not cause acne spots. 

After using Alya Skin Face Mask, you skin will feel smoother and softer, but it always helps to moisturize after use to add a bit of glow and radiance to your already beautiful skin!

Tip 3: Use makeup sparingly!

If you're suffering from a breakout, be sure to use makeup sparingly. Makeup clogs up your pores and your skin cannot breathe when you have thick layers of makeup on your skin! If you do wear makeup, wash it off at the end of the day, and be sure to use the Alya Skin Face Mask to cleanse, detoxify and remove toxins from your pores.

Tip 4: Stay out of the sun

The sun's ultraviolet rays can actually inflame your acne spots, as well as cause further redness known as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. 

Whether you have pimples or not, always apply broad-spectrum and a broad-brimmed hat when you're out in the sun to protect your face. We also recommend using sun-screen with a minimum of SPF30 or higher.

Tip 4: Exercise Daily

Regular exercise is good for your mind, body, and most importantly, your skin! When you exercise, avoid wearing clothing or using exercise equipment that rubs your skin - it may cause irritation. Shower, bath, and use Alya Skin Face Mask after you work out!

Tip 5: Last but not least - CHILL!
